The Otley Coffee Festival in 2026 took place at All Saints’ Parish Church in April and as well as coffee exhibitors included creatives’ stalls, live music and talks. Profits from this not-for-profit event went to support chosen local charities with preset donations.
The event proved so successful that additional monies were generated and thus the organisers asked volunteers to recommend other local charities worthy of support.
WMS was suggested by a long term friend and thus the photograph above shows Stuart, our present chairman, attending the Bookshop on the Square last Saturday to receive a cheque for £100.
Since this money, for which we are very grateful, was totally unexpected we have decided to earmark it as seed funding for an important first when we relocate to our new workshop…….watch this space for more information.
